Join us for our journeys

on MV-Imagine

Even cats and dogs get along when boating (though Ella the cat was known to sleep soundly), and Indie was well aware of her sharp claws.

A peaceful anchorage in the Broughtons on 8-8-08, and yes we did watch the opening of the Olympic Games, thanks to Katie's insistence on satellite tv (though most down time is spent reading).

And of course we would not be having these wonderful adventures without the wonderful folks at BananaBelt Boats in Anacortes!

This year we will be venturing from Seattle, WA to Glacier Bay Alaska.  We will be posting to the site from time to time as internet access permits, which is intermittent at best in the Far North.  Please check back to note our progress and get a flavor of our 2014 Alaskan adventure.  We have found such great peace and wonder on the waters of the Northwest and hope you will get a sense of that peace and wonder from following our journey.

The Journey Begins Our last night in Seattle. Spent lots of time with friends and family. Now looking forward to the adventure ahead. Weather permitting we will be in Nanaimo, BC tomorrow afternoon (5/19). Then Campbell River on May 20, and Port Hardy on May 21.~~ Weather permitting we may reach Ketchikan by May 26. We'll see how that goes.  Click on the Our Alaska Journey tab for updates.
